Feature artist: Peter Tilney

ntroducing our brand new feature artist: Peter Tilney! Peter is a well respected artist originally from the Blue Mountains, however moved to Blayney over 45 years ago, where he and his lovely wife Val raised a family together.

Peter is a self taught artist and his passion for art was ignited when he started attending weekly art get togethers with the late Ian Roberts and Chip Redhead, who were also incredible artists. Peter has a passion for teaching children art and is hoping to start some workshops with the local schools in the near future at Platform Arts Hub Blayney.

Peter does beautifully detailed ink drawings and pastel drawings and he welcomes commissions of landscapes, buildings, machinery and vehicles – nothing is too big or too small.

Peter’s latest commission that he is working on is a wine label collage drawing for Phillip Shaw Wines which he is really proud to be completing.

Come on down and view Peters amazing artwork, we are open Thursday – Saturday 10-4pm and Sunday 10-2pm.

Entry is $5.00, $3.00 for concession and children under 12 are free. His exhibition will be on show until Mid July.
